Bodegas Honorio is a family property with limited productive capacity, located in Cordovín (La Rioja), near Haro. A winery with a young team, led by Honorio, who closely together with the technical management in charge of Alberto Pedrajo and Javier Achutegui (ASPA Ingenieros), define and transfer all their knowledge and effort to each bottle, always looking for surprise to the consumer. A family winery, dynamic, with constant concerns, which seeks, rehearses and creates new wine projects seeking the excellence of some vineyards and their wines.
The original winery dates back to the early 1930s, with subsequent extensions, respecting the old stone drafts, integrated into the current winery, which was expanded for the last time in 2002, to provide it with the most current technology and suitable for the correct preparation of our wines. The winery is divided into three production areas according to the different extensions, highlighting the underground aging cellar that is after the old drafts, where the suitable environmental conditions make the aging of our wines one of the most outstanding characteristics of the cellar. Above this underground cellar is the elaboration and storage cellar, where our targets and darets are elaborated by means of cryomaceration techniques seeking to enhance the expression of the personality of the elaborated varieties.
